Visit by Commission VII of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) to PT Santos Jaya Abadi – Semarang Plant
The PT Santos Jaya Abadi Semarang Plant hosted a specific working visit by Commission VII of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) on September 4, 2026. This visit served as an opportunity to observe firsthand the progress of the coffee processing industry and to discuss the opportunities and challenges involved in strengthening Indonesia's downstream coffee sector.
The visit was led by the Deputy Chairperson of Commission VII DPR RI, Evita Nursanty, accompanied by several members of the Commission. During the visit, PT Santos Jaya Abadi was recognized as one of the major players in Indonesia's downstream processed coffee industry.
PT Santos Jaya Abadi plays a significant role in delivering value-added processed coffee products that are manufactured domestically and enjoyed by both the Indonesian public and consumers in various countries.
A dialogue was held with PT Santos Jaya Abadi’s management regarding the development of the national coffee industry, covering topics such as the strengthening of downstream processing, supply chains, exports, and policies that support industry sustainability and competitiveness.
